These are the 2025 Event Industry Conferences to Have on Your Radar
As we’re all in the trenches of planning for 2025, there’s one thing that needs to be on your radar — continuing education. There is a wealth of industry-specific conferences, summits, and workshops out there, and I’m so excited to share my top picks for the coming year!
The Venue Masterclass
The Venue Masterclass is a brand-new conference that just launched this year, with its inaugural masterclass hosted by Hustle + Gather. The audience is a mixture of venue experts and professionals focused across all event spaces, offering keynote and workshop-style sessions to give attendees all of the tools they need to elevate their venue business.
Be Sage
With 3 days of mastermind content and deeper learning, Be Sage is the conference for industry leaders and longtime professionals. Deemed as “hardcore, no fluff” education, the Be Sage Conference (produced by Be Sage Consulting) offers exclusive content from speakers and aims to shift perspectives during the retreat.
NACE Experience
NACE Experience 2025 was just announced, and I highly recommend having this one on your radar for the coming year. Each Experience conference is full of innovative ideas and fresh education for event pros of all experience levels and niches. Whether you’re hoping to connect with like-minded pros or immerse yourself in the latest industry trends, NACE EXP is worth the investment (and the hype!).
The Special Event + Catersource
Any longtime event or catering professional will tell you that The Special Event + Catersource co-located conference is an amazing place to start if you’re dipping your toes into the world of industry education. With an incredible tradeshow floor of over 5,000 professionals and 300 suppliers, the combined TSE/Catersource conference is the perfect place to expand your knowledge and connect with your peers.
Wedding MBA
Meet the wedding industry’s biggest conference: Wedding MBA. Hosted in Las Vegas, Wedding MBA boasts an all-star speaker lineup from year to year, and there are ample opportunities for networking and going all out with industry events. Whether you’re an industry veteran or new on the scene, WMBA has so much to offer with its extensive tradeshow and inspired business education.
Last (but not least!), virtual education
If traveling isn’t in the cards for you right now, don’t worry — there are plenty of amazing virtual opportunities to help you stay at the top of your game in 2025. In particular, I highly recommend Margaux Fraise’s Wedding Summit Series; she hosts single-topic summits for wedding pros on a variety of concentrated themes. Additionally, I encourage you to check out Heidi Thompson’s Book More Weddings Summit and her Wedding Business CEO Summit, both of which are aimed toward helping pros reclaim their time and boost their bottom line.
Whatever you decide to invest your money and time in, just know that the most important factor is determining the best ROI for your business. What’s a great fit for you may not be a fit for someone else, and vice versa. Make sure to take advantage of the opportunities and connections that come along with each conference so that you get the most out of your experience!
