Announcing WeddingIQ's Official Merchandise Shop!

WeddingIQ Blog - Announcing WeddingIQ's Official Merchandise Shop!

Hello, friends! Kyle and I are so excited to roll out something we've been working on secretly for a long time: our first official line of WeddingIQ merchandise! We're now offering an exclusive line of T-shirts, tanks, hoodies, mugs, tumblers, flasks, technology cases, business accessories, mini poster prints and more, all in a choice of five designs meant to be bold, fun and a little bit snarky - just like us.

We've started our shop with a pretty basic set of products, and will be adding new designs and products throughout the year. WeddingIQ swag is great for buying for yourself, or as gifts for the other smart business owners in your life (and really, aren't most of our close friends in the same industry as we are?).

Our merchandise shop is hosted externally on CafePress, and is also permalinked on our main shop page in the navigation bar above.

Of course, our shop page still contains links to business books (actual books and Kindle editions) that we love via the Amazon Affiliates Program, and we still make a very small commission off those, so please consider buying your reading material through us, please and thank you! We'll be refreshing our book recommendations as we encounter more inspiring authors in the near future, so be sure to check back often to see what we're digging these days.

Now, why is a little site like WeddingIQ launching a collection of merchandise, you ask? Well, let me break it down:

We're trying to fund more great WeddingIQ work. While we're lucky to have some great coaching clients, the vast majority of work we do on WeddingIQ, including generating blog content, is completely uncompensated. It's the definition of a labor of love, but we've got bills to pay! By purchasing a rad shirt, shot glass, mousepad - whatever floats your boat - you'll be kicking a few bucks to some hardworking women entrepreneurs, and we'll love you forever for it.

We love funny shit. Some of the sayings on the designs come from ridiculous conversations Kyle and I have had (sometimes while under the influence). I myself am a collector of awesome shirts, with sayings like "Kicking Ass & Forgetting Names," "Male Tears," and "Drink Like a Champion Today." It seemed only natural that our WeddingIQ merchandise should fall under that same funny flag.

Being a business owner should make you proud. We wanted to create stuff that celebrates being in business for oneself, especially in a field as crazy as weddings. If sipping our coffee from a mug that says "Boss Ass Bitch" makes us smile and remember that we rock, we thought it might do the same for you.

We hope you get a kick out of our initial product launch, and look forward to announcing new merchandise and special promotions very soon. Happy shopping and happy weekend!
